Dr. Anna Posacka is an expert in plastic pollution, ocean health, and sustainable innovation. Her work has informed national and international strategies to address microplastics and plastic waste, with a particular focus on textiles, ocean monitoring, and upstream solutions.

She has led applied research and contributed to science-policy frameworks, including a recent federal report that helped shape Canada’s emerging strategy on textile plastic waste.
